Video production is the process of producing video content. It is the equivalent of filmmaking, but with images recorded digitally instead of on film stock. There are three stages of video production: pre-production, production, and post-production. Pre-production involves all of the planning aspects of the video production process before filming begins. Production is the phase of video production which captures the video content (moving images / videography). Post-production is the action of selectively combining those video clips through video editing into a finished product that tells a story
Photography is the art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. Still photography is the practice of making non-moving photographs, as distinct from motion picture photography (cinematography). In the motion picture industry, a person making still photographs is known as the unit still photographer.
Post-production is part of the process of filmmaking, video production, and photography. Post-production includes all stages of production occurring after shooting or recording individual program segments. Traditional (analogue) post-production has mostly been replaced by video editing software that operates on a non-linear editing system (NLE).
Motion graphics are pieces of digital footage or animation which create the illusion of motion or rotation, and are usually combined with audio for use in multimedia projects. Motion graphics are a way to communicate with the viewer, and add depth to the story. Together with music and effective copy, they can give us a message.
Compositing is the combining of visual elements from separate sources into single images, often to create the illusion that all those elements are parts of the same scene. Live-action shooting for compositing is variously called "chroma key", "blue screen", "green screen" and other names. Today, most, though not all, compositing is achieved through digital image manipulation.
In filmmaking and video production, pre-production formally begins once a project has been greenlit. At this stage, finalizing preparations for production go into effect. Financing will generally be confirmed and many of the key elements such as principal cast members, director and cinematographer are set. By the end of pre-production, the screenplay is usually finalized.
In filmmaking we cannot create without equipment. What we think, write and imagine has to be made and transfer. The equipment are essensial tools for our job and we always use the best tools for our projects. We invest constantly in Cinema cameras, lights, audio, grips and post-production software and hardware.
