DIT - RED Workflow
The workflow is the process in which the captured image is processed and then finished. A good workflow allows to optimize the production budget and time frame.
The RED ONE produces high resolution material during shooting, so you need to set-up a specific and linear workflow from prodution up to post-production, knowing that you are dealing with 4K RAW digital files (more than 4 times HD). Back-up, editing, CGI, compositing, color grading and finishing will be related to this aspect.
There are a number of workflows that can be applied to work with RED material, but their use will depend on the type of production, the budget available and the final video product that you need to market or sell.
